Therapy for anxiety
As a psychologist, my therapy approach in working with anxiety focuses on understanding the roots of the depression.Therapy for anxiety looks at identifying and exploring the anxiety triggers, and processing these to help reduce the anxiety experience. Therapy may also look at the scientific explanations for some types of anxiety, as well as on-the-spot anxiety reduction techniques, if needed. Information on relaxation techniques and exercises may also be helpful for some people.
If you have any more questions about anxiety or therapy, I can be contacted using a contact form. Alternatively, take a look at the Contact section of this website.
Helpguide.org provides a good overview of anxiety, as well as tips on how to cope.
